Appointments

All patients are seen on an outpatient basis, by appointment only.  Small animals are typically evaluated and treated at our office location, although an in-home appointment is available with an additional travel fee.   Horses and farm animals are treated at their barn or farm location. Current mobile service coverage area includes the following counties: Craven, Carteret, Jones, Onslow, Pamlico, Lenoir, Beaufort, Pender, Johnston, and Wake.

No Show/48 Hours Cancellation Policy

Dr. Theisen is fully booked each day and has a waiting list of patients to be seen. If you do not let us know at least 48 hours prior to your appointment that you need to cancel/reschedule, you are taking away our time to treat another animal in immediate need. We receive many calls per day with animals needing to be seen as soon as possible and we do not want to be unavailable to those patients if you are unable to make your appointment.  In order to better serve our patients, you will be charged a $50 late-cancellation/no show fee for any appointments at our office location or those scheduled as mobile appointments that are not properly canceled and/or rescheduled.  We appreciate your understanding with this policy.

Emergency & Urgent Care

Integrative Healing Veterinary Clinic & Mobile Services does not provide any routine or emergency veterinary care services, and all clients are asked to maintain a current relationship with their regular veterinarian to meet these needs. If something arises that requires further diagnostics (i.e. bloodwork, radiographs, ultrasound, etc.) and/or treatment, clients are referred back to their general care veterinary provider.  Our goal is to work together with your conventional veterinary care provider to come up with the best possible treatment outcome.
